XII Stones was birthed out of prayer and scripture. Joshua was told to take the children of Israel into the promised land. God pushed back the waters of the Jordan River for the people to walk across on dry land. Before God put back the water, he told Joshua to take one man from each of the 12 tribes and have them bring a stone and build a memorial into the Jordan River. He also told them to take twelve more stones to Gilgal, where they would be residing, and build another memorial. These memorials were for the Israelites to remember forever what the Lord had done for them.

We felt that it was fitting to name our place XII Stones because this is what the Lord has done for us. He has given us an opportunity to serve Him through our place of business.
